(Mooresville N.C.) Tim Nye extended his points lead with a win Wednesday night at SKE speedway, it was Nye's 8th career DNQ win. With the win Nye now has a 9 point lead heading into the final race in November. Nye's win did come with a little controversy however after Nye spun Buskirk early in the race. "Shit happens but he owes me one now, that was awesome I just had a baby and it was pretty cool to win this one for baby Kenna". Nye will take home his first championship with a 9th place or better finish.Brad Buskirk will have to win and hope that Tim Nye finishes 10th or worse.
