The DNQ Series is under going many changes going into the 2020 Season. Here's what you need to know
DNQ Cup Series
Hartz HVAC will not return as the sponsor of the Cup Series, Ghostface Brewing will now sponsor the Elite racing series of DNQ. The GFB Cup Series will move to a 410 Weight and run treaded Hoosier tires (Except at AAR except Will Run 2019 Maxxis Tire ). After watching the trial race in October there is a lot of excitement for this series to fire off with the Milltona 50 in December.
Busch Series
Carroll Tractor & Trailer Repair will return in 2020 as the sponsor of the Busch Series. After an exciting season that saw Robert Showalter win the championship. The Busch series will keep the same rules package but will have significantly higher penalties for illegal engines. The Series will also have engines for competitors to run at certain times during the season.
Heavy Cup Series
The Heavy Cup Series will now be known as the Hooters Pro Cup Series.(Sponsorship is open for this series) This series will feature treaded Hoosier Tires & Predator engines. With more gear options for the racers. (This Series will not run AAR)
Goody's Dash Series
5 Star Tire Specialties did not rule out a return to sponsor the Dash Series but they did not renew right away. This Series Is Open For Sponsorship. Dash will as well make the switch to the treaded Hoosier tires (except at AAR Will Run 2019 Maxxis Tire) but will run the smaller option tire all the way around. This series makes the switch to a full-time series in 2020.
ARCA Series
Pink Magic Tire Prep Returns to the famed peasant series of DNQ racing. The series will maintain all its rules from 2019 with heavier penalties for engine tech failures.
Schedule
The 2020 Schedule will largely stay the same. AAR will return as a DNQ venue in late January as the first Double Points race. There will be 3 Double Points Races In the 2020 season AAR - The Intercourse - Iredell County Fair
